Departure of the Spanish garrison from Hulst (sheet a), 1645. Hulst, besieged by the States Army under Frederik Hendrik from September 28 and captured on November 5, 1645. Left sheet in a composition consisting of three sheets. In the foreground, a tent with drinking, card-playing, and dancing States soldiers and a trumpeter. In the background, the procession with wagons and riders. Possibly part of an unmounted ensemble consisting of the two maps, the profile, the sheet with the six forts, the three sheets of the departure of the garrison, and the two text sheets.
