About this work

Stained-glass window with a depiction of the Spanish king Philip IV being presented with a document in which he renounces the Netherlands, after the signing of the Peace of Münster, 1648. In a cartouche a four-line verse. Stained-glass window placed in the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam in 1656 and renewed in 1767.
