About this work

Stained-glass window depicting the Spanish King Philip IV being presented with a document in which he renounces the Netherlands, following the signing of the Peace of Münster in 1648. In a cartouche, a four-line verse. The stained-glass window was installed in the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam in 1656 and renewed in 1767.
