Performance of the Disarming of Mars. Part of the performances staged on 23 June 1648 at the Schouwburg in Amsterdam to mark the signing of the Peace of Münster. The third performance depicts Mars being disarmed by Peace. In the background, a Dutch prince looks on. The caption contains a four-line verse in Dutch.
