Display of the Disarming of Mars. Part of the displays performed on June 23, 1648, at the Schouwburg in Amsterdam following the signing of the Peace of Münster. The third display shows how Mars is disarmed by Peace. In the background, a Dutch prince looks on. In the inscription, a four-line verse in Dutch.
