About this work

Establishment of the brotherhood Militia Angelica Thomae Aquinatis under the seal of chastity, 7 March 1649. Saint Thomas Aquinas is girded with a chastity belt by two angels. At the bottom, members of the brotherhood distributing chastity belts to clergy and citizens on the street. The brotherhood was founded at the University of Leuven by the Dominican Franciscus Deurwerders. In the center, the Ten Commandments of the Militia.
