About this work

Sheet with two medals on events in Amsterdam in 1650. From top to bottom. Medal 1: obverse: boats with soldiers on the Amstel, hands with arrows, banner and palm branch emerging from the clouds. Reverse: Peace standing with banner on weapons. Medal 2: obverse: Amsterdam coat of arms flanked by Peace and Liberty. Reverse: Jupiter and Peace tread on weapons. Cut-out illustrations without text on the reverse pasted on a sheet of paper with annotation.
