About this work

Pamphlet on a fight between a Dutch fisherman from Vlieland named Jonge Kees and an English fisherman on 9 August 1652. The fight between the crews of the two fishing boats, top left a portrait of Jonge Kees, right his reward by the Admiralty. Printed text in 3 columns below the image with a poem of praise, on the Victory of the Vlieland Fisherman.
