About this work
On a pedestal decorated with dolphins sits a satyr wearing a hat. In front of his belly, he holds a large volute that ends in a fantastic beast with an open mouth. Sheet from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti, and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and preface, and 60 sheets, divided into three books.
