About this work
Sheet with a large depiction of the application of the new fire hoses of Jan van der Heyden and Jan van der Heyden the Younger in extinguishing a fire in a building in an imaginary city. At the top two cloths with the titles in Dutch and French. At the bottom four small depictions of fires in houses and on a ship and a model of the pump. Hereby the legend A-M in Dutch and French. On the sheet under the plate is a text printed with a description in 4 columns in Dutch and French. Belongs to the supplementary prints in the Fire Hose Book of Jan van der Heyden.
