Departure of the French army from Utrecht, 1673. The French army leaves the city of Utrecht on 23 November 1673 taking 15 hostages with them. In the background the city with the Dom, in the foreground the procession moves past ruins. Below the depiction two columns of text with the names of the hostages and the legend A-Z, in German.
