Execution of captain Jan Bont on 5 February at the Admiralty or Prinsenhof on the Oudezijds Voorburgwal in Amsterdam. Condemned for unauthorized leaving of the fleet of Jacob Binckes in the West Indies. Bont standing on the scaffold before his beheading.
