During the coronation ceremony, William III takes the oath on the Bible, Mary kisses the Bible, April 21, 1689. Part of a series on the fortunes of the English House of Stuart from 1558-1711, of which sixteen prints are included here concerning the struggle between James II and William III in the years 1688-1689.
