Equestrian portrait of William III. In his right hand, a marshal's baton. To the left, several figures, including trumpeters and a drummer, and his coat of arms with a crown, decorated with the Garter and the motto of the Order of the Garter. In the background, advancing troops and a besieged city with the sun shining above, a war scene from the conflict in Ireland. In the lower margin are his name and titles.
