About this work

Large print on two sheets celebrating the victories of the Allies over the Turks and French in 1691. Upper half with the victory over the Turks at Salem Kamen by Louis William, Margrave of Baden-Baden, 19 August 1691. Lower half with centrally the victory of the English army of King William III under the Dutch general Godard, Baron van Reede-Ginckel, over the Catholics of James II at Aghrim (or Aughrim) on 22 July 1691. On the sides, six smaller scenes of English victories in Ireland and Allied victories against the French. At the bottom, the almanac for the year 1692 is pasted on.
