Collection volume containing the eight volumes of the print work: Les forces de l'Europe (175 plates) published by Nicolas de Fer between 1693-1697 (RP-P-OB-83.033A) and the two volumes of the print work: Le Theatre de la Guerre, dans les Pays-Bas (52 plates), also published by Nicolas de Fer in 1696 (RP-P-OB-83.033B). Dark brown leather binding over cardboard with the title on the spine: Forces de l'Europe. Plates with plans (by Sébastien Le Prestre, Seigneur de Vauban) of famous strong cities and fortresses in the Nine Years' War. Titles and inscriptions in French.
