Exchange office in Milan where King Louis XIV (Harpagon) weighs money for Harlequin who stands before him, masked and holding a key. Three columns of verses in Dutch and French in the print. Sheet no. 22 (numbered top right) in the series of 25 sheets titled: Supplement to the Royal Almanac, called the Golden Year of the Allies, 1706. Part of the print work published under the collective title: 't Lust-Hof van Momus, with the bound series of caricatures during the years 1701-1713 of the War of the Spanish Succession.
