About this work
Allegory on the victories achieved by the Allies against the French in the year 1706. Triumphal arch with portraits of the Duke of Marlborough, Prince Eugene of Savoy, and the Lord of Ouwerkerk. With small depictions of the Battle of Ramillies, the relief of Turin, and Barcelona. On the left Hercules with the Dutch Lion, the English Unicorn, and the German Eagle. On the right Fortuna with the princes of France, Cologne, and Bavaria. On the right, Justice defends the cause of Charles III in the air. Printed on the sheet below the plate is a text in 3 columns.
