About this work

Firework display set off on behalf of the States-General on the Hofvijver in The Hague at the celebration of the Peace of Utrecht, 14 June 1713. In the pond a temple has been erected with a painting on which Peace and Abundance throne on the clouds and Mercury brings good news. At the bottom the title and legend 1-19 in Dutch and French.
