About this work

Street festival where food is thrown from a decorated facade and drinks are tapped for free, 1713. Part of a group of three illustrations of the festivities on 9-10 October organized by the Duke of Ossuna, a member of the Spanish embassy, in the German House on the Springweg in Utrecht in honor of the birth of Crown Prince Ferdinand of Castile on 23 September 1713. Marked top left: No. 3.
