About this work
Sheet with caricatures of little people in the wind trade. Four separate plates numbered 1-4 printed on one sheet. Plate 1: emblem with Bombario in a frame with the devil and goat's feet, crowned by a basket full of fools. Plate 2: a little man as a night watchman with a magic lantern on his back. Plate 3: a little man as a doctor with a bird on his hand. Plate 4: a little man as an old woman with a small dog on her arm. Plates 2-4 have a caption in two columns. Print 26 in the series Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with caricatures on the Wind Trade or Share Trade of 1720.
