Second plate of the flood in the provinces of Gelderland and South Holland after the breaking of the dikes at the major rivers between Arnhem and Culemborg, December 1740 - January 1741. Depiction of the area between the rivers with all villages and towns, in the foreground families mourning victims and visits by members of the Councils of Holland and West-Friesland and engineers who arrived by yacht. In the clouds wind heads. On the sheet below the plate an explanation of the depiction with the legend A-W and 1-69.
