About this work

Fair print for the year 1788 by the Amsterdam night watch (rattle watch) of district no. 21 (aan den Amstel), dedicated to the citizens of Amsterdam. Members of the rattle watch patrolling on the Dam in front of the Town Hall, in the sky the sun, moon, and stars. On the sheet below the scene a verse in two columns with in the addendum a song in three columns.
