About this work

Mourning chamber with visitors at the catafalque of Prince William IV, who died on 22 October and lay in state during the months of November and December 1751. The scene in a frame with the coats of arms of the seven provinces, medals with portraits of the stadtholder, his wife and children, and his ancestors. Marked at the top left: No. 3. and at the right: Pag. 217.
