About this work

Fairground print for the year 1754 by Gerrit van Gelder, the cartman (askarrenman or dustman) in district 2, dedicated to the citizens of Amsterdam. Horse with askar marked 2 on the Dam in front of the Town Hall. On the sheet below the image a verse in two columns with a song in the echo in three columns. In the verse reference is made to Daniël Raap and the Orangists.
