About this work

Monument or memorial stone for Princess Anna of Hanover, who died in 1759. Monument built from flags, allegorical female figures, and a royal ermine mantle, crowned by a skeleton with a royal crown. Centrally, the princess's coat of arms held by a lion and a unicorn. Top right marked: XIV.
