About this work

View of the festive banquet held in the great hall of the City of London Tavern on 14 December 1813 to celebrate the liberation of the Netherlands. In the presence of the Duke of Clarence (later King William IV) and the Hereditary Prince Willem Frederik. Guests standing around the long set tables at the moment the health of the sovereign prince is being drunk. Below the image, descriptions of the event in English and Dutch.
