About this work

The solemn inauguration of Prince Willem V as Knight of the Order of the Garter, in the Orange Hall in Palace Huis Ten Bosch, 5 June 1752. The prince is presented with the order chain in the presence of the many attendees. In the plate the caption with the legend 1-23 in Dutch and French and the prince's coat of arms.
