About this work

The Trêveszaal, the new audience hall where the States-General receives foreign ambassadors, inaugurated in October 1697. The hall is full of members of the States-General and various foreign ambassadors. On the walls, paintings with portraits of stadtholders and allegorical scenes. At the bottom, a legend A-S, the title, and in the center the coat of arms of the States-General. Top right marked: Tom. II. Pag: 129.
