About this work

Carnival print of the Amsterdam night watch (ratelwacht), 7 September 1846. Several men walk at night with rattles along a canal. A man collects money at a house. With a poem in three columns. On behalf of the night watch in quarter No. 3 of the Leidschepoort Corps de Garde of the 5th section of the Police: O. Hijmans, J.H. Neep, P. Schuurman and H. Poelmeijer.
