About this work

Fairground print on behalf of the newspaper carriers of Amsterdam, 11 September 1865. At the top two vignettes with illustrations taken from books, left the story of the miller in the ring (1645), right a marriage proposal on the island of Rottum. At the bottom a poem in three columns. From the newspaper carrier: F.F. van de Pol.
