About this work

Satirical print on Prince Frederick and King William I standing on the coast discussing the poor progress of the fight against the Belgians and the shortage of ammunition. On the ground lie stacks of cheese as bombs and stovepipes. On the left, the Dutch grenadiers are lined up. Prince Frederick points out to his father a last escape route, the 'Route d'Angleterre'. With multiple captions.
