About this work

Woman in a historical costume of a Prussian peasant, possibly in a singing role. At the bottom a musical staff with notes. See pendant. Part of the album consisting of a cover and six plates of costumes worn at the costume ball held in The Hague on 17 and 19 February 1841 to celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary of King Willem II and Anna Paulowna.
