About this work

Three knights of the Teutonic Order in the Protestant Bailiwick of Utrecht, in armor on horseback, and a fourth with the coat of arms of Zeeland, preceded by a group of monks. Sheet numbered V in the series of eighteen plates depicting the historical costumed procession representing the reception of Count Willem II of Holland in Utrecht in 1249. The procession held by the students of the University of Utrecht on 2 June 1841 to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the restoration of the University.
