Satirical print on the liberals in The Hague politics. Circus performance with Thorbecke as an acrobat standing on a yoke on the shoulders of a common woman. On the right, Baron Van Zuylen and Rochussen perform a balancing act. Plate published in the weekly De Nederlandsche Spectator, no. 20, 18 May 1861.
