About this work
Caricature on the adoption of the budget of the Ministry of War in the Second Chamber. The disorganized war fleet of Minister Engelvaart is safely towed by the tugboat Thorbecke through the Second Chamber into the harbor. Plate published in the weekly De Nederlandsche Spectator, no. 21, 1871.
