Satirical print on the arrival of David Mill Graves (the envoy from Elmina) in the Netherlands to protest the transfer to England during the debate on the treaty ceding the Gold Coast in the First Chamber. A black African follows the proceedings from a balcony. Plate published in the weekly De Nederlandsche Spectator, no. 3, 1872.
