About this work
In the foreground, the Jewish people are attacked by snakes. In the middle ground, Moses points with his staff to a pole on which a bronze snake is attached. Whoever looks at the image will be healed from the snake bites. The Jewish people bring the sick to the image. The print has a Latin inscription.
