About this work
Christ scoops up dust and sand from the ground and sprinkles it into the eyes of a man born blind. Some of Christ's disciples stand behind him and watch the healing. On the right, the blind man is seen washing in the pool of Siloam. On the left, the healed man is being questioned by the Jews. Below the image, an inscription in Latin.
