About this work

Peter rebukes Ananias and Sapphira, who had kept back part of the proceeds from their property to avoid sharing with the Christian community. By Peter's words, both die. In the background, their bodies are being buried. Below the image, a Latin reference to the biblical text in Acts 5:1. This print is part of an album.
