About this work

A crowned Bathsheba leads her son Solomon to a throne where a crown and scepter lie. Behind them, onlookers and angels in clouds watch. Above them, two putti hold an open Bible with a title. In the lower margin, the Latin text: Egredimini et videte filiae Sion regem Salomonem in diademate quo coronavit illum mater sua.
