About this work
An ornamental ceiling with a rosette in the center surrounded by a laurel wreath. Garlands with mitres and scepters flank the rosette. At the top and bottom are two eagles on cornucopias on either side of a female half-figure with a fruit basket on her head and crowns in her hands. In the four corners are acanthus scrolls with ram's heads.
