About this work
An ornamental ceiling with a rosette in the center surrounded by a laurel wreath. Trophies with books and trumpets flank the rosette. At the top and bottom are two roosters and two goats on either side of a putto on a garland. In the four corners are acanthus scrolls with lion's paws.
