About this work
Aurangzeb, with a white beard, depicted to the waist, turned to the left, with his left hand on his sword and a flower in his right hand, a kattar in his belt. Leaf 6 in the 'Witsen Album', containing 49 Indian miniatures of rulers. A piece of paper with the name in Persian is pasted above the portrait. Below the portrait, a piece of paper bears the name in Portuguese.
