About this work

Scaffold for fireworks set off on the order of the States of Holland and West Friesland on the Hofvijver in The Hague for the celebration of the Peace of Utrecht, 14 June 1713. Centrally, the Temple of Jan crowned by the Dutch Maiden with a liberty cap in the Dutch Garden. The Temple surrounded by seated figures of Faith, Liberty, Commerce, Science, and the Arts. Design for a print.
