About this work

Allegory on the victory in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815. The Dutch Maiden, seated on her throne, receives homage from three allegorical female figures. To the left of the Dutch Maiden stands Strength; to the right, Abundance. Before the throne stands a winged guardian. Part of a group of three allegorical drawings on the Battle of Waterloo.
