About this work

The constellation that favors war. Mars stands on a pedestal with his back to the viewer and a spear in his left hand. His right hand reaches for his sword. To the left a standard-bearer and a halberdier, to the right in the foreground a drummer. In the background to the right the cavalry. Top left the sign of Cancer and top right the sign of Aries. Design for a print.
