About this work

On most of the sheet, an attacking army is depicted at a city wall where defenders are being overwhelmed; in the inset in the upper right, a prince sits on a blue terrace facing warriors with a commander bowing before the prince. The scene is framed by black line borders with a gold edge and a thin decorative border with gold speckles.
