About this work

Mounted warriors attack each other with crossbows in a hilly landscape, encouraged by a half-naked figure who remains safely behind the hilltops. The composition lies on the right side of a sky-blue sheet speckled with gold and is framed by golden border lines; in the bottom left corner, there is an indentation.
