Snapdragon. Numbered top right: 288. Name in four languages top left, a four-line inscription in Latin at the bottom. Part of the third album with drawings of flowers and plants. Tenth of twelve albums with drawings of animals, birds and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With explanations in Dutch, Latin and French.
